Which eyebrow filler should you pick? Learn from my mini-guide!

Make-up is one of the “ingredients” we use to create the perfect look. We need to pay attention to the eyebrows which make a frame for the entire face. What products to pick to make brows look their best? Discover them all!

We all have our unique brow shape and color which go with our beauty type, therefore eyebrow stencils don’t seem to be a good idea. We must discover the most flattering colors and learn how to use them.

And so we need the right cosmetics for that amazing look. Because of various and endless brow fillers, we are spoilt for choice and picking one product is tricky. What brow products can we try? Which ones are worth it and in which situation?

EYEBROW FILLERS – TYPES

Eyebrow fillers we can try include:

  • Eyebrow pencil has been made to easily mark out the brow contours and draw missing hairs in the gaps. The good thing about this one is no need for extra accessories like brushes and endless colors available.
  • Eyebrow gel is a bit more difficult to use but it ensures higher precision because you apply it with a thin, angled brush (necessity for a separate applicator is a downside). Not only does it color the brows but also sets the shape and keeps them in place.
  • Eyebrow powder comes as second most popular filler after pencils. It’s easy to apply, there’s margin of error that saves us – we can smudge it if we happen to use too much. Brow powders are usually sold in convenient palettes with an applicator.
  • Eyebrow pomade is a creamy version of powder and it blends better with skin for bolder effect, plus pomades are among the longest-lasting fillers. Too bad you need to buy an extra brush to use it.
  • Eyebrow tint is the last and longest-lasting filler in the list (it stays on brows even for fifteen hours or so), plus it gives a very intense color. Tint also needs use of a special precision brush.

EYEBROW FILLERS – COLORS

There’s a reason why brow fillers are available in various color versions. The secret to stunning make-up is the choice of colors making us look natural – they must go with hair color and skin tone. Let’s follow two simple rules while making a choice:

– eyebrows shouldn’t be darker than head hair (but blondes can obviously forget this rule).

– eyebrows shouldn’t be covered in color totally so we should blend the color well or use darker shade for the bottom brow line and lighter color for the upper line (ombre).

Do you know…

… when shopping for brow fillers you should also pay attention to the tone, not just the color. Spring or winter beauty types should choose cool tones. All others can go with warm tones.
